The Ocala Gazette commemorated the success of the inaugural Florida Steeplechase in the March edition of its monthly publication. Founders Archie Macauley and Jessica Berry were interviewed as well as Mel Boucher, winning jockey of the meets feature race, the Brown Advisory Hurdle.
